If cancelled with in one day prior arrival there will be a charge of one night stay.

The main activities that are featured are the jaripeos, rooster fights and charreadas; sport activities are also performed and cultural events such as: theater, music bands y painting exhibitions.

Other attractions are the cave paintings from de arch that is found at the shores of Actopan town; besides from las peñas of San Andres and the ex convent of the San Nicolas de Tolentino church.

Nearby this municipality are found the gigantic monolitos also known by the name of ¨Los Organos¨ o ¨Los Frailes¨ because of its great height, they can be sighted from several regions of the state. The hill of Tepenené or Hill of the Muñeca is right next to the Los organos, where the remains of an old population still exist.
