Posada del Lago Hotel and Restaurant

It was founded in the year 1981 by Mrs. Enriqueta Soto Aguirre, we feature Mexican traditional cuisine style according to the season of the year as well as we posses capacity ranging from 50 up to 200 guests. There are plenty of tales taking place here, such as the one when the famous painter Carlos Medina paid a visit to have lunch and became dazzled by our facilities, he mentioned the fact that he thought it was a very beautiful place, however he mentioned it lacked from decoration, thus three months later he granted us three of his paintings out of an exhibition as a gift to be included in our restaurant decoration. We also had the pleasure of having Arturo Moyers, another painter who recommended all of the TURISSSTE agencies to send entire groups to dine at our restaurant, the best one in the Huasca region; this certainly helped us to gain promotion as people came back with their families.

A view to the San Antonio lake and a staff that will treat you with a warm and cusotmized service, only 5 minutes away from attractions that include: Prismas Basaltitos, Pena del Aire, las Truchas and Haciendas from mineral benefits like: San Miguel Regla, San Antonio Regla, Santa Maria Regla the last one being the oldest of Latin America and was founded by the Count Romero de Terrenos.

We sow our own vegetables with 100% natural products.

Our restaurant is currently in the process of being approved by the ISO9000:2000 Standard.

Our restaurant is known for its traditional Mexican cuisine depending on the time of year, it has a capacity for 50 – 200 companions and some of the dishes include Trout, ostrich, Nogada Chili, Maguey worm, barbecue. Our bar has a happy hour from 12:00 to 13:00 every day and offers our special drinks like Mojito and Medias de Seda.
